8. Decent work and economic growth
17. Partnerships for the goals
The Inclusive Community Forum recorded a series of testimonies from companies that have signed the Commitment to Inclusion, about the challenges these companies face, the strategies used to surpass them, and suggestions that they give to other organizations that are on the path to implement an inclusive recruitment.
When making a company more inclusive of people with disabilities, particularly through recruitment, it is very important to commit specific resources to develop these new company practices. This was the strategy adopted by CUF, to promote the inclusive recruitment.
At CUF, there was one person assigned to the inclusive recruitment. Consequently, there were very interesting results, as shared by José Luis Carvalho and Maria João Vicente:
1) Lower learning curve due to a profound knowledge about CUF’s culture;
2) An increased attention and a more critical look towards all open positions available at CUF;
3) Increased agility, by institutionalizing the inclusive recruitment process in CUF’s standard procedures.

We all have a role to play
With just ten years to go, an ambitious global effort is underway to deliver the 2030 promise. We want to take a stand and we are calling on our community to showcase how they are contributing to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, whilst influencing more and more people to unravel their role to play.
Here, you will find four different ways your ideas can flourish, dialogue can be enhanced, and action can take place. You can choose one or all four, and Nova SBE will be there to support you all the way and guarantee tangible change.
We all have a role to play, and this is your way in.
