impACT stories #2: Are we working on the right side?

The initiative continues: after a successful launch, 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 go into round two so we can all find our #roletoplay​. For more discourse about impact, how to seek it, and how to really live it, Joe Santos, co-founder of Vencer Autismo and international speaker, will inspire each of us to think about the question: “Are We Working on the Right Side?” during his talk.

Being able to help his autistic stepdaughter to overcome challenges in her everyday life has led Joe to become the go-to source for accessible information on how to deal with autism. Through this, he has become a renowned public speaker, communicator, and empowering change-maker. With his talks, he seeks to ignite acceptance. Do not miss out on his contribution to our series.

Two tales of rumination and burnout: examining the effects of boredom and overload

Although boredom poses serious consequences for employees and organizations, research has paid little attention to this phenomenon, especially when compared to other job experiences such as overload. This study examines the impact of these two sub-optimal experiences, characterized by under- and over-stimulation, on burnout via three facets of rumination.

We are on a mission to be a community dedicated to the development of talent and knowledge that impacts the world.

With just ten years to go, an ambitious global effort is underway to deliver the 2030 promise. We want to take a stand and we are calling on our community to showcase how they are contributing to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, whilst influencing more and more people to unravel their role to play.

Here, you will find four different ways your ideas can flourish, dialogue can be enhanced, and action can take place. You can choose one or all four, and Nova SBE will be there to support you all the way and guarantee tangible change.
