What changed at Santander

Santander shares best practices of inclusion resulting from their active participation in the Commitment to Inclusion by Inclusive Community Forum

The Inclusive Community Forum recorded a series of testimonies from companies that have signed the Commitment to Inclusion, about the challenges these companies face, the strategies used to surpass them, and suggestions that they give to other organizations that are on the path to implement an inclusive recruitment.

Santander was one of the first 24 companies to sign the Commitment to Inclusion, in March 2019.

Since then, a lot has changed in the bank: they found new partners for the inclusive recruitment; they built an internal process for the inclusive recruitment, which has led to the creation of new routines and to the implementation of new methodologies; they identified, within the bank, "champions" to raise awareness in all employees and spread the defined actions; until they reached the moment in which they recruited people with disabilities again.

The development and evolvement of this process led to the creation of an inclusive and diversity ecosystem at Santander.

Watch Santander's testimony, and become inspired to change:

We all have a role to play

We are on a mission to be a community dedicated to the development of talent and knowledge that impacts the world.

With just ten years to go, an ambitious global effort is underway to deliver the 2030 promise.
