New Intensive Training in Data Science, with Le Wagon

Nova SBE has launched its Data Science Bootcamp, an intensive training in Python for Data Science and advanced Machine Learning, in partnership with the world-leading coding bootcamp Le Wagon.

In an increasingly data-driven world, Le Wagon and Nova SBE are combining expertise to answer the rising demand for Data Scientists.

According to a report by the European Commission in 2017, the number of data workers in Europe would increase by up to 10.43 million, with a compound average growth rate of 14.1% by 2020. Nova SBE's Data Science Bootcamp, in partnership with Le Wagon, aims to bridge the gap between organizations and technology and prepare students for successful careers in data teams as junior data scientists, data analysts, or data engineers.

The busy curriculum includes Python programming language, SQL, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural networks, Image Recognition, Data Engineering, tech Project Management, and other Artificial Intelligence implementations in business.

The training program is instructed by international data science professionals, former employees of Quora, Ele.me, and Airbnb.

Sebastian Saunier, ex-Google engineer, CTO and one of Le Wagon 3 co-founders
"We used the same model as our flagship product, with 20% theory and 80% practice on projects."

Lénia Mestrinho, Executive Director at Nova SBE Data Science Knowledge Center
"Le Wagon’s ability to design intensive, agile technical curriculums that have a practical approach, coupled with Nova SBE’s multidisciplinary mindset and leadership training will only strengthen our ability to support our students and Alumni in being fully equipped for the 21st-century job market."

What can be done to solve the lack of teachers in schools?

About twenty thousand students started last year’s third period in schools without some classes due to a lack of teachers. Have you ever heard about Switzerland?

Finland, Norway, Sweden, all these countries are seen as the dream country to raise your children, but have you ever heard about Switzerland? I’m not talking about its chocolate, inventors, or its capability to shelter its entire human population in nuclear fallout shelters in the event of nuclear war; in fact, what is more, intriguing it’s their education system and the possibility of it being strongly related to the Swiss economy.
