Nova SBE forms two new partnerships with Amélia de Mello Foundation and Banco Primus
Nova SBE has formed a new partnership with the Amélia de Mello Foundation, which also includes alliances with BCSD and COTEC. The goal of this initiative is to offer three research grants worth 150,000 euros each, named after distinguished personalities from the José de Mello family. Each grant will be awarded annually, one per year, following the alphabetical order of the main themes: decarbonization, industrial innovation, and social innovation. The primary objective of this program is to recognize research projects focused on achieving fundamental transformation. The recipients of these grants will be researchers dedicated to the realization of such projects.
Additionally, the collaboration with Banco Primus involves a scholarship program aimed at Master's students, covering 100% of tuition fees. The eligible Master's programs for these scholarships are: Economics; Innovation and Impact Entrepreneurship; Management; Finance; International Master’s in Management; and International Master’s in Finance. This program will begin in the 2024/2025 academic year, with applications for its first edition closing on March 22nd. To qualify for this scholarship, students must have a GPA of 15.5 or higher, be eligible for a 100% Nova SBE Social Mobility scholarship, and reside in Portugal. Candidates must also submit a three-minute video describing their motivations and future expectations regarding the Master's program they wish to attend.
