BOLD Leadership: Nova SBE's Innovative Program for Future Leaders

In an era defined by rapid change and global challenges, the question of what it takes to be an outstanding leader in the 21st century becomes increasingly crucial. Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) has stepped up to address this query with its groundbreaking initiative: BOLD – Be an Outstanding Leader. This senior manager training program not only equips participants with essential skills but also aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16), emphasizing the role of leadership in creating positive societal impact.

Nova SBE is dedicated to making a difference in the world through innovative programs like BOLD. This senior manager training initiative aims to cultivate the leadership skills and competencies of high-potential professionals who aspire to contribute meaningfully to their organizations and society at large.

The comprehensive curriculum of the BOLD program covers a spectrum of critical topics, including strategic thinking, decision making, communication, storytelling, negotiation, ethics, sustainability, and social responsibility. However, what sets BOLD apart is its commitment to practical application. The program comprises a total of 120 hours of both face-to-face and online learning, incorporating individual and group projects, mentoring, and coaching.

Aligned with the United Nations’ SDG 16, which seeks to foster peaceful and inclusive societies, provide access to justice, and establish effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions, BOLD goes beyond theoretical education. It is a dynamic experience designed to empower leaders to make a tangible impact on a global scale.

The second edition of BOLD commenced in September 2023, following a summer break, with an emphasis on storytelling and communication sessions. These sessions aimed to empower participants to craft and deliver compelling narratives that inspire and influence audiences. Furthermore, the program focuses on enhancing verbal and non-verbal communication skills, recognizing their pivotal role in effective leadership.

Scheduled to run until June 2024, the BOLD program promises to be a transformative journey for senior managers aspiring to become outstanding leaders. It stands as a testament to Nova SBE's commitment to nurturing leaders who not only excel in their professional roles but also contribute significantly to the achievement of global goals. As the program unfolds, participants are poised for a true growth journey, armed with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of leadership in the 21st century. Cheers to the pursuit of wisdom and the collaborative effort to forge a brighter future for everyone!
