In the Dean's Corner, Daniel Traça discusses TAP's restructuring plan, by exploring the case study of Singapore.

TAP's restructuring plan brought the debate about public or private property back into the economy again. It is a debate as old as economic science, on which academic economists have already produced many scientific articles - most of which attest to the fact that private companies are more efficient, more profitable and more customer-focused.
