Menos hub is a social organization that was born with the mission of simplifying the creation of micro-businesses to allow anyone to create their opportunities. Our work focuses on creating an ecosystem of support for small entrepreneurs and helping in the whole process of creating and growing their own business, having already worked with more than 120 entrepreneurs (mostly unemployed or underemployed) to create and grow more than 100 projects.
Recently we launched #compraaospequenos movement to support small business in COVID times giving them visibility, tools for better management and helping them to sell via retailers, with 500 members, thousands of supporters, and a wide media coverage.
With a degree in management (Nova, Lisbon) and a master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CBS, Copenhagen), João worked in several industries, from technology startups, accelerators to impact investors in Denmark, Holland and India. In 2018 he was nominated Global Shaper in Lisbon and top25 under 30 social entrepreneurs in the Euro-Mediterranean region by the United Nations (UNIDO).

João is a successful Entrepreneur living in Mexico City and a big fan of mobility. He is the co-founder of Urbvan and together with an amazing team they're building a network based on people needs in urban areas. João holds a BSc. in Economics from Nova SBE, and a MSc. in Strategic Marketing from Cranfield Business School (UK).
